10 NXT Wrestlers With Glorious Entrances

This list won't give in, it won't give in, until someone is victorious.

First impressions are everything and nowhere is that more truer, than in pro wrestling. If you don't believe that, go ask Fred Ottman aka Tugboat aka Shockmaster aka Clumsy McClumsyface. True, poor Fred didn't really stand a chance with a gimmick as awful as Shockmaster, but it didn't help that poor Fred literally couldn't stand.

You see, the cornerstone of any successful wrestler, is a successful entrance. The right music, the right attire and the right swagger and we the people, will lap it up like the happy little marks that we secretly are. WWE has always been willing to put on a good show for an entrance and in NXT, it feels like the game has been kicked up a notch.

Finn Bálor, Sami Zayn and Bayley all managed to get over with the Full Sail University crowds with some killer entrances. Be it demonic alter-egos, ska music or wacky waving inflatable tube men (only in wrestling will you EVER see those three things linked together within the same sentence), all three added to their incredible in-ring work, with entrances that popped the roof off the building.

Who are 10 wrestlers in NXT today then, that have the ability to sell an entrance like HBK sells a big boot...

10. Tye Dillinger

Yes, it's the most obvious list entry in the history of list entries. Only topped perhaps, if science/a religious deity (delete as appropriate to your own belief system) had birthed a list entry at the start of human existence, which was called 10 Things Needed For Life To Exist and you saw oxygen on that list at number 1.

Tye Dillinger has essentially made the number 10 his very own in wrestling with this perfect 10 gimmick. Who would have thought that just a simple number, was finally the thing that would get a talented guy like Dillinger, so over with the fans? But it has and he's now primed to move from NXT to the main roster because of it.

With the "10" chant, Dillinger now also has something that's up there with "What?" in terms of crowd participation. And like heel promos have never been the same again because of Austin, ref counts may never be the same again because of Dillinger. Unless every count is changed to 10, that is.
