6. Booker T Can't Catch A Break

On the other end of the spectrum, poor Booker T had no luck while competing at Summerslam. Booker T, who has 35 major title reigns to his credit ended up facing a murderer's row of talent on his way to an unimpressive 0-5 Summerslam record. It all started in 2001 for Booker, who lost his WCW title to future Hollywood star The Rock, after the WWE had purchased WCW and integrated their talent into the roster. While he wasn't featured in a world title match the next year, he an Goldust came up short in their quest to pry the tag team titles away from Lance Storm and Christian. In 2004, Booker T was matched up with eventual megastar John Cena in a best-of-five series in which kicked off at the Summerslam show. Unfortunately for Booker, he was defeated not only at Summerslam, but the best-of-five in general, losing his United States Title. His last two matches were both big, high-profile contests against the likes of Batista and Triple H, the former with the World Heavyweight Title on the line. Needless to say, things didn't work to Booker T's favor. With his career likely over, Booker T sits at 0-5 in his Summerslam career. Jeff Hardy also shares an 0-5 record, but has more of an opportunity to rectify it than Booker T.
