6. Bull Nakano Wrestled Alundra Blayze At Summerslam 1994

When the WWF signed WCW valet Madusa and re-cast her as women's wrestling machine Alundra Blayze, the need to find opponents who could allow her to showcase her talent was significant. Then a free agent from the All Japan Women's promotion with a decade of excellence in the singles and tag ranks behind her, Nakano debuted as an associate of Luna Vachon at Summerslam '94 and pushed Blayze to the limit, eventually losing. Though she would win the championship in a rematch in Japan, before a proper feud could begin, Nakano was released due to cocaine possession. If looking for a legacy of strong women who wrestle a "stronger" style in America, look no further than Bull Nakano's style in this, and other matches as the forebear of the concept. From Charlotte and TNA's Havok to many more, her imprint is obvious.
