10 Other Wrestling Figures Netflix Need To Make A Documentary Series About
10. The Ultimate Warrior
The Ultimate Warrior - formerly known as James Brian Hellwig - was an utterly fascinating presence in the world of wrestling, and we are all thankful that he got to step back into the company and be inducted into the Hall of Fame before his death. A further way that the story of the Ultimate Warrior could continue has to be in the form of a Netflix documentary that discusses the tumultuous relationship that he had with the company, his career and the man himself.
There is a darker side to The Ultimate Warrior that isn't discussed in any media created by the company. WWE tend to present him in a cherished way - such as the immortalising Warrior Award given to those who display "unwavering strength and perseverance" in his honour. Still, the man was not only staunchly arrogant and problematic to work with, but shared some incredibly unfavourable views such as blatant homophobia and frequent bigotry.
A series based on the life and career of this man could expose and discuss the less favourable aspects of his views without the WWE bias, and even demonise them for continuing to hold the man in such high esteem.
Netflix documentaries seem to often revolve around the aspects you didn't know of a person, so to examine the heights of his career, but also address an uncompromising look at the man would be utterly compelling.
