Donald Trump and Vince McMahon are two of the biggest success stories of modern times. Both have headed up huge enterprises and reaped massive rewards for their drive, determination and innovation. Wrestlemanias 4 and 5 had both taken place at Atlantic Citys Trump Plaza, with the relationship between Trump and McMahon being traced back to even before then. But things got amped up for Wrestlemania 23 as the two both put their famed hair on the line. Many a toupee joke has been made over the years when it comes to these two powerhouses, and one of them would be shaved bald at WM23. Vince picked the savage Umaga to go up against Trumps hulking Bobby Lashley, with the loser seeing their respective billionaire scalped. Of course, Umaga would lose, meaning Vince McMahon, with a little help from special referee Steve Austin, having his head shaved after the match. To see Trump so involved in a wrestling angle brought vast interest from mainstream news outlets in what was dubbed The Battle of the Billionaires. As an indicator of the success of the show, Wrestlemania 23 had the highest buy-rate of any WWE PPV up until that point and its fair to say that a lot of those buys were down to the Trump vs McMahon angle.
