The modern day WWE is all about making sure their Divas are pretty enough to be on reality shows. But back in the nineties, there was one woman who had a face only her mother could love. Luna Vachon helped redefine what it meant to be a female professional wrestler. She was tough as nails and could deliver a beating just as well as any of the male competitors. Along with her aggressive attitude, she had face paint added to her left side which was made to look like her veins were coming right off of her face. It was very bizarre look that helped give Luna a unique look that set her apart from the other women in WWE at the time. When inspected up close, one can tell that a lot of work was put into the face paint to make the veins look as realistic as possible. They went from the top of her head all the way to her chin, and the design was made to look as accurate to where the actual veins would be within that vicinity. It was a creative use of face paint that made a scary looking woman look even scarier.
