From one great to another, the focus this time is on The Great Kabuki. Another famous Japanese professional wrestler, hes often credited as being the first to perform the Asian mist spray attack. While All Japan Pro Wrestling was where he established himself as a wrestler, he didnt truly become a household name until he went overseas and performed in such territories as the National Wrestling Alliance, Jim Crockett Promotions, and World Class Championship Wrestling. In addition to his extravagant entrances and his signature spray attack, Kabuki would cover his face in red, white, and green face paint that, similar to The Great Muta, made him look like a creature from another world. Kabuki knew how to be disturbing in the ring, and he wouldnt hesitate to perform risky moves which would lead to either him or his opponent(s) get covered in blood. When the blood mixed with the face paint, it would make Kabuki look downright sadistic, and he would most certainly be the last person youd want to find yourself in the ring with. Nowadays Kabuki makes some in ring appearances from time to time in Japan, but hasnt worked with another foreign wrestler in close to two years. It looks like the rest of the world will not have to worry about Kabuki terrorizing their televisions for now.
