According to multiple sources behind the scenes, there is a war being waged, right now, for the soul of the WWE. In one corner is Triple H, the husband of Stephanie McMahon, and the son-in-law of chairman Vince McMahon. A multi-time, former Heavyweight Champion and surefire Hall of Famer, the Game is currently running the NXT development division. One noticeable thing about Triple H's leadership over NXT is that he has taken a much more 'old school' approach to the product more wrestling rather than 'sports entertainment.' Less skits and scripted dialogue, and more improvisation and in-ring psychology. And in the other corner is Kevin Dunn, and his slick, drama-heavy, wrestling-lite philosophy and approach. This leads to all sorts of conspiracy theories, especially as it relates to NXT. When Orton made fun of Owens's weight, was Dunn behind it? When NXT got all its talent called up to the roster at once, was Dunn behind it? Dunn has probably been given more blame than he deserves, but it can't all be unfounded.
