Although he hasn't been seen much on WWE television this year, Zeb Colter helped bring back the core concept of managers to the promotion's product upon returning in 2013. A good promo, Colter excelled in his role as the xenophobic, American heel, which was an interesting twist on the age-old premise of having the foreigners play bad guy in the wrestling world. Before taking on the role of Colter, Wayne Keown was well-known as Dutch Mantel, a former wrestler who retired and became a manager, road agent and announcer with companies such as the NWA, WCW, WWF and TNA. In that latter promotion, Mantel worked as a member of the creative team for years, before returning to WWE in 2013. Making his debut in wrestling all the way back in 1972, Dutch Mantel has been around for a while, and his induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame would surely throw up some interesting stories from a career that spans across 5 different decades. Longevity is becoming increasingly rare in the wrestling world, but Mantel is someone who has been around for a long time, and his contributions deserve to be revered.
