At WrestleMania, Ryback will challenge Kalisto for the United States Championship in a match that must be used to elevate Ryback to the top of the card. Ryback has been featured heavily on WWE television as of late, and his new look has accompanied a new attitude, one he hopes will propel him back to the main event. After the predictable finish of the WWE Championship match, Roman Reigns will be in desperate need of new heels to feud with coming out of WrestleMania. Roman was originally rumoured to be working against Dean Ambrose heading into the Summer, after The Lunatic Fringe turned to the dark side. Given how the company recently called an audible with Ambrose, they may continue to position Dean as a top 2 or 3 babyface. Whether that remains the plan past April 3rd or not, Roman needs more fresh opponents to feud with and a Ryback/Roman programme is not something the company has done yet. While his biggest and best opportunity to be positioned as a true headliner came (and went) several years ago, The Big Guy did make it to the main event, WWE Title picture against CM Punk and John Cena at different times. Given his impressive look and size, traits that Vince McMahon has been known to love, it makes sense to expect a similar outcome for Ryback in 2016.
