10 Potential Outcomes For WWE WrestleMania 32

By Matt Davis /

3. 23-1

WWE have done a great job blending reality and fiction in Shane McMahon's promos thus far - it's kayfabe at its best and it's no coincidence that Shane is front and center. Although many viewers hope that Shane's return means that he will be taking an active role behind-the-scenes, the reality is that his latest involvement with WWE could be little more than a favor to his father during a year when the WrestleMania season has been ravaged by injuries. For this reason, expect The Undertaker to move to 23-1 at 'Mania 32. But Vince knows what the fans want. The reactions are obvious, Shane's popularity is obvious, and what's even more obvious is that fans want a change for Monday Night RAW! If Vince really wants to make this WrestleMania the biggest show ever and parlay that into increased anticipation for the next night's RAW, the McMahon family power struggle could still be the primary storyline even with a Shane loss, especially if hi father has a change of heart mid-match. As Vince always says, "Anything can happen in the WWE", and there are already somewhat substantiated rumours (according to Dave Meltzer) that a real-life power struggle could be brewing behind the scenes. Time will tell if WWE can keep the same level of interest in this storyline in front of the cameras, but Shane McMahon does not need to defeat The Undertaker in order to do so.
