10 Potential WWE IC Title Feuds For Ryback

WWE needs a big challenge for The Big Guy.

At Elimination Chamber 2015, Ryback captured his first ever championship title in WWE. He defeated five other wrestlers inside the Chamber to become the Intercontinental Champion.

The win came as a slight shock because it seemed that Sheamus or King Barrett were more likely to win. Even so, The Big Guy is the IC Champion and now needs a new direction to take his title. A worthy feud is in order for him.

Ryback is rumored to face off against both The Miz and Big Show at Money in the Bank in a little over a week, but that gives relatively no time to create a compelling story.

Is this merely the beginnings of a rivalry with one or both of those guys or is it just a quick win for Ryback to get the ball rolling for his reign? WWE might even have a different contender in mind for him.

WWE might pit Ryback against an existing IC title challenger like Wade Barrett or Sheamus. Or maybe they'll throw a curve ball and have him defend his belt against a recent NXT call-up. There are many different options for him.

In this article, ten potential wrestlers are suggested to feud with Ryback for his Intercontinental Championship. If the right opponent is chosen WWE could have several months of a meaningful title run lined up for Ryback.

10. Cesaro

Cesaro has found purpose in WWE during recent history with his exceptional tag team run alongside Tyson Kidd. The two have captured the WWE Tag Team Championship belts and were well received by the WWE Universe. Sadly, Kidd has suffered from a recent neck injury during a dark match on last week's Raw.

Prayers and good thoughts are most certainly being offered up by concerned fans as Tyson undergoes medical tests. In the meantime, Cesaro could be well used as a challenger for Ryback's Intercontinental Championship.

Having been not much of a singles wrestler the past few months Cesaro might need to establish why he deserves a shot at Ryback's gold. A tournament would be nice but with the recent The King of the Ring event a battle royal to crown a number one contender might work better.

Assuming Tyson Kidd returns to action healthy in the near future, Cesaro could easily challenge Ryback and take the losses without causing himself any damage. Ryback would get a win from an excellent in-ring worker while Cesaro would then return back to the tag division.
