10 Potentially Awesome WWE Feuds Which Failed To Deliver
10. Braun Strowman Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Poor Shinsuke Nakamura, he really does appear to be trying his best. But there is only so much you can achieve when management doesn't support you.
When the Japanese star defeated Finn Bálor for the Intercontinental Title it looked like it was finally his time to shine. But no, instead he was only on TV sporadically until they paired him with Sami Zayn as his mouthpiece. Nakamura was approaching 200 days as champ and was once again picking up steam, and then Braun Strowman stepped in. Fans everywhere hoped that the King of Strong Style would pick Strowman apart with vicious kicks and devastating knees. Nakamura has shown in the past that bigger men can often bring out the best in him, as NJPW fans will remember.
To nobody's surprise, Braun ran over him in a mostly one-sided affair. Then instead of a one-on-one rematch, we got a handicap match with Braun taking on the whole Artist Collective. And Sami Zayn won, meaning the coveted singles strong style affair between Nakamura and Braun was off the table. What a missed opportunity.
