If Erick Rowan's single run doesn't work out, it's likely he'll be placed in a tag-team again. Instead of simply re-uniting him with Luke Harper or The Wyatt Family at some point, he could be one half of an entirely fresh unit. Baron Corbin stands 6ft 8 inches, exactly the same size as Rowan. He's a little lighter, coming in at around 275lbs, but he's a believable partner. Instead of simply making the new team a random pairing, there should be some sort of story involved. Perhaps Erick Rowan could inform everyone that Corbin warned him of Wyatt years before, only he didn't listen. Now, his eyes have been opened, and he's focused on winning WWE Tag-Team gold with a friend who was always there for him. In essence, it wouldn't take a lot for the creative team to offer some rational explanation for Corbin and Rowan joining forces. Maybe further down the line, Corbin could even turn on his partner, revealing that he was pulling strings for Bray Wyatt all along. The situation would need to be handled well, but it could help an NXT stand out progress onto the main roster.
