The Authors of Pain have been on a warpath and that has continued through the Dusty Rhodes Classic and they seem to be on a crash course with the Tag Team Champions, DIY.

DIY were eliminated from the tournament by the AoP so they have perhaps the greatest claim to a title opportunity, and with the babyface champs having just completed a magnificent series of matches with The Revival fans should be excited about how they could perform in a feud with a tag team that brings a completely different style.

People could argue that the AoP are too inexperienced to be at the top of the tag team division and while matches between these teams may not live up to the Tag Title matches of the recent past, DIY's Gargano and Ciampa are skilled enough to bring out the best of Ellering's monsters.
