10 Problems Nobody Wants To Admit About WrestleMania 33
10. The Undertaker Is In A Bad Way
The Undertaker is a huge part of WrestleMania’s appeal. This is the only show of the year where you can still guarantee his appearance, and his match always feels special ahead of the event, regardless of the opponent. His very presence is an important part of 'Mania’s presentation, his entrances always look incredible, and when he retires, he’ll be taking a piece of WWE’s flagship pay-per-view with him.
Unfortunately, 'Taker’s career has been on a steady decline since losing his streak to Brock Lesnar. The WM31 bout with Bray Wyatt was above average at best, and last year’s Shane McMahon farce was one of the most laborious 'Mania matches of 'Taker’s career. Now, heading into a showdown with Roman Reigns, 'The Phenom' looks wobblier than ever.
Undertaker was visibly off the pace and out of shape at the Royal Rumble, and he had major hip surgery back in September. Rumour has it that he’s in dire need of a hip replacement, but he’ll be forced to retire when he has the procedure. Furthermore, 'Taker looked visibly uncomfortable taking Reigns’ Spear a few weeks ago, and if the evidence is anything to go by, this year’s match could be a dud.
