This is probably going to be the biggest surprise on this list, but lets be clear, Shane McMahon coming home to the WWE would be a big freaking deal. He hasnt been associated with wrestling, even on the business level since 2009. Despite all that time, when you mention his name, people easily recall his greatest hits with ease. The guy was a daredevil on the level of Jeff Hardy, while also being easily the most athletic member of his family. Its funny that the McMahon who looked most at home in a wrestling ring, whether it was speaking or fighting, now has nothing to do with the business at all. Its understandable that he wanted to pursue other ventures outside of the WWE, forge his own legacy as a businessman so to speak, but its hard to imagine that hes made his last appearance as an on screen character. Call it being hopeful, but admit to yourself that you would pop huge if he came back. Hes been gone for half a decade, completely left the business to pursue other endeavours, and nobody would ever expect to see him back. Sounds like the makings of a great pop. Add the fact that his music is distinct, abundantly enjoyable, and hasnt been heard for quite some time, and the fact that his sister and brother in law are running roughshod over the WWE as the Authority - the pop could be legendary. Imagine the response Shane-O Mac would receive returning as the prodigal son of Vince McMahon, focused on reclaiming his Authority and place in the family business. Here comes the money, because there is definitely money in that story and excitement in that potential pop.
