10 Quick Fixes To Save The WWE Brand Split

10. Change The Universal Championship’s Strap

I think it’s fair to say that the Universal Championship has hardly had the greatest of starts to life in the WWE.

The big reveal of the belt’s design at SummerSlam was met roundly with audience disapproval, before the inaugural champion, Finn Balor, cruelly suffered a shoulder injury that would necessitate surgery and a lengthy spell out of action.

Obviously the company’s powerless to do anything about the injury to Balor, but the ball is very much in their court when it comes the design of the title.

Now, I’m not suggesting they go back to the drawing board and start from scratch with the design. In my eyes, at least, it’s just that garish red strap that they should probably do something about.

The only time red leather looks good is when it’s being rocked by Shinsuke Nakamura. In the case of a championship title, the standard black leather would look far better, though they can still retain the red background behind the WWE logo if needs be.

Presumably that’s an easy fix that'll offer something of an improvement, while it’ll also make the championship different enough to the corresponding world title on SmackDown.
