10 Reasons Brock Lesnar Must Have A Long WWE Title Reign

4. Increased WWE Network Subscribers

If Lesnar reigning atop WWE is enough to bring mainstream media attention and make fans want to see him compete, then surely it will entice audiences to subscribe to the WWE Network. With WWE incurring so much negative publicity following the failure to meet expectations in regards to subscription numbers, it would be wise to promote as many pay-per-view extravaganzas as possible with Lesnar at the top of the card, carrying the WWE title and drawing more eyes to the product than it would to, say, have him drop it back to Cena sooner than later and return to the status quo. It may not be a popular decision among those fans who believe the title has to headline each and every event but it would be best for the long-term health of a project that Vince McMahon's company has put so much time and energy into. The fact that this is even an issue, that wrestling fans have not already ensured the success of the WWE Network for the very low price of $9.99(!) a month, is somewhat baffling. But since it is an issue, since WWE is left scrambling for ways to convince its audience to plunk down a mere 10 dollars a month. there are few options better than shoving Lesnar at the audience and letting them make up their minds as to whether or not they want to pay to see him. Part of that will be his box office appeal while the other will be up to WWE Creative to take care of. It can start off on the right foot by booking him as the strongest champion they have had in a decade.
