The easiest way to draw eyes to Raw would be to say that "The Authority has come to terms on a new contract for CM Punk. Tonight in Punk's hometown of Chicago - as per the announcement of The Authority - he will wrestle Dean Ambrose." If that were announced first thing Monday morning, it would certainly cause intrigue. A) Punk is re-signed? B) He's wrestling not Seth Rollins, but Dean Ambrose - does that mean that Punk's turned heel? C) Has Ambrose turned heel in his pursuit of John Cena? D) WIll Punk deliver a pipebomb? Of course, when fans tune into Raw and the opening segment instead sets the main event as Punk and Cena versus Rollins and Ambrose, you pull in eyes and ultimately use Punk to make two new stars.
