As we stand here in 2016, Randy Orton is stale - and injured. Since losing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX, The Viper has become something of a secondary player in the land of WWE - a role that is obviously beneath him. Since then Orton became embroiled in The Authority's business, filmed The Condemned 2: Desert Prey, feuded with Seth Rollins ahead of a WrestleMania 31 showdown, and is currently on the shelf after undergoing shoulder surgery that ruled him out for up to six months in November of last year. Nothing's gone right for Randy in recent times, he needs a change. And WWE would be best looking to his storied past for a brighter future. Arise, the Legend Killer... The then-Evolution rookie and future 12-time World Champion debuted his breakthrough gimmick in July 2003 during his feud with Mick Foley; a memorable angle where Orton spat in the Hardcore Legend's face.and sent him flying down a couple of flights of stairs. After tearing through a number of senior citizens within the WWE Universe, and running The Undertaker close to a first WrestleMania defeat, The Legend Killer was shelved as Orton started the first of thousands of programmes with John Cena for the WWE Championship.
