Star power goes a long way in getting what you want. While Rousey is a beast of a fighter in the cage, she also has star power out of it. And her fights sell. She's one of, arguably, the top three draws in the UFC at the moment, especially with Anderson Silva looking at a lengthy suspension. Add her movie resume onto that, and you can expect her to get her way.
