Keep in mind this column was written before Raw, and its possible that Sting will be announced as the new General Manager/Authority Figure for Raw, rendering this point moot. But if Sting isnt announced as any kind of Authority figure, then his attack on Triple H made absolutely no sense. He had no longstanding beef with Triple H or the Authority that we know of. Its highly unlikely that John Cena cut any kind of deal with Sting to interfere on Team Cenas behalf. The entire storyline leading up to Survivor Series was dealing with John Cena and his team being the ones to put The Authority out of business. Having Sting be the one ultimately responsible for The Authoritys downfall undermines the story they were trying to tell for a month now.
