It is easy to see why; there is so much to love about Ric Flair’s greatest night in the WWF. 'The Nature Boy' put in the greatest single performance in Rumble history, backed up an incredible showing from Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan on commentary. The field was stacked, the stakes were high, and the action was constant. What more could you want?

With that in mind, I’m here to tell you that the 1992 Royal Rumble isn’t the best in the three decades of the event. That accolade deserves to be given to the 30-man extravaganza that took place two years earlier, where nothing was on the line and Hulk Hogan eventually prevailed.
