As things stand, there's a very good chance that Roman Reigns will be selected to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 32. The big bruiser is the man the company are pinning all their hopes on to become the next big babyface sensation. There's still time for that to happen, but 2016 may be a little too soon for Reigns to assume that position. That said, it'd be conflicting of this article to suggest WWE should avoid taking the chance. As aforementioned, new stars simply must be created and pushed. WWE's future depends on that fact, and there are certainly worse candidates than Roman Reigns at the moment. Unfortunately, he's simply not as popular as WWE management would like people to believe he is. There are boos whenever Reigns takes to the ring, even more so when he cracks jokes or delivers hammy lines in a stiff, stoic manner. Right now, hardcore wrestling fans don't buy Roman as the man to lead the company forward. WWE may, but their job is convincing the people who buy tickets and merchandise to really have faith in their hand-picked top star.
