It's hard to fathom it sometimes, but WWE film an incredible amount of footage, and have done for many years. Somewhere in that vast archive, there's so much that us fans haven't had the privilege to see, but that's slowly changing with the arrival of the Network. One of the best aspects of the service is the ability to look back at non-televised house shows from a bygone era, and get a feel for what the company was like during that period, outside of television or Pay-Per-View. House shows, or "live events" as WWE prefer to call them, offer up such a different take on the product, so it's heartening to know we're getting to experience some of them going forward. The earliest card here goes all the way back to Madison Square Garden in 1975, and includes Bruno Sammartino in action. Other choice cuts come from 1997, 1991, 1984 and 1988. The wrestling isn't always spectacular, but it's so intriguing to look back on these forgotten shows. Just imagine what it must be like for people who were there in person to then discover them all over again now!
