WWE's most marketable product is their weekly Monday Night Raw broadcast. At present, Raw's ratings are in a precipitous decline, the likes of which the company has never seen before. When McDonald's sales slide, heads roll in that company, just like as in any other successful corporation. In WWE not mirroring the corporations which they likely aim to mimic via their business practices, they're likely doing their company's ability to turn back the tide a great disservice. What was once an issue that was easily solved by changing creative is a bit more difficult as there needs to be a change of in-ring wrestling culture in the company that isn't solved by "Have A Nice Day Promos" and "Bang 3:16" guns, either. In the McMahons potentially being aware of what needs to happen, but afraid of doing so, finding people willing to invest in a wholesale shift of attitude towards how wrestling is presented is necessary.
