10 Reasons You Need To Be Watching Impact Wrestling Right Now
10. Subtle Jabs
Now, this one can be taken on board or left behind, it's entirely up to your tastes as a wrestling fan, however, it's certainly worth mentioning.
One of the things AEW has been criticised for since its inception is its numerous jabs towards WWE, with perhaps the biggest example of this being Cody's entrance from the inaugural Double or Nothing. While it doesn't necessarily detract from the product as a whole, it can be deemed tedious, especially considering the sheer amount they've had within their debut year.
While Impact aren't exactly shy at taking a jab, they have a tendency to be less forceful with it than its Jacksonville counterparts. Having Heath mention how his surname was taken from him is nothing compared to 'The American Nightmare' smashing up a throne with the use of a sledgehammer.
Granted, there have also been times where certain talents have kicked it up a notch, most notably when Brian Myers stated he was sick and tired of important decisions within the industry being made by some "out of touch 70-year-old man", referring of course to his former employer.
These moments are nothing major usually, but they at least add a bit of flavour to Impact's programming.
