When the former Idol Stevens resigned with the WWE in 2012, he did so as the "Intellectual Savior of the Masses." To that end, a finishing move with a simple name like "powerbomb" or "clothesline" would just not do; Sandow took the straight-jacket neckbreaker and dubbed it Terminus, Latin for "a final goal/finishing point." The name fit, and even the execution fit; the problem was, the move itself wasn't as quick or high-impact as a finisher needs to be. While he still uses Terminus, it is now as a set-up move to his other finishers. Cubio Aequet- one of the prettier names in finishing-move history- is similar to The People's Elbow: a simple elbow with enough theatrics to rile up the crowd. Sandow has also added a full-nelson slam he calls "You're Welcome," and a sitout side slam (similar to Matt Hardy's "Side Effect") he calls The Silencer. For whatever success Sandow has lacked since losing his Money in the Bank cash-in match to John Cena in 2013, he has surpassed many when it comes to creative names to connect his finishing moves to his gimmick.
