When the WrestleMania 26 bout pitting Hart against Vince McMahon went into promotional overdrive, it was never mentioned that Hart had suffered a debilitating stroke in 2002 following a bicycle accident. That, on top of a career-ending concussion in 2000, left Hart in no condition to perform anywhere near his pantheon days as the "Excellence of Execution". Maybe it would've been alright if Hart simply crushed McMahon in no more than two minutes come WrestleMania, but I'm sure McMahon himself allotted budgeted 11 minutes of length (like Vince would work anything short) that exposed Hart as creaky and slow. It was more than understandable why, but the match was strangely promoted like it was the Bret of old facing off with Vince. This is hardly Hart's fault, and it was a rough use of a wrestler that fans have always seemed to believe in.
