8. Balls Mahoney Was Xanta Claus
Everybody loves Santa. The man travels around the world and gives people presents in exchange for milk and cookies. It’s an arrangement we’ve made with the morbidly obese, immortal fellow for centuries.
However, something in Santa broke in 1995, and he turned heel on the entire planet. He first turned against Savio Vega, so you can only imagine what kind of horrible thing Vega must have done to ruin all of this fun for mankind.
At In Your House 5: Season's Beatings, Santa beat down Savio because he wouldn’t join The Million Dollar Corporation. He then showed up with Ted DiBiase the following week with a new name in Xanta Claus. Xanta also turned on his home continent, as he was now billed from the South Pole instead of The North. That's just cold.
In a shocking twist, we found out years later that Xanta was actually Balls Mahoney. And yes, “Balls Mahoney” is an absolutely ridiculous name, but a fake Santa known as Xanta is slightly worse.
