Prior to this match being made a No Holds Barred contest, the title of this section was going to be Change Shield vs Evolution To A Chicago Street Fight. Well they pretty much are the same thing, but WWE upped the ante in making it an elimination contest. Most of The Shields famed 6 Man contests have been of the single fall variety, and theyve dominated a great percentage of them. The elimination wrinkle adds another layer of psychology, as it could potentially be 3 on 1. The story of The Shield vs Evolution is basically, the young lions taking their place in the hierarchy. What better way to establish that by building on their victory at Extreme Rules with a clean sweep of their older counterparts? Similar to how they squashed the Attitude Era at Wrestlemania, the Ruthless Aggression era could adhere to the same fate. The Shield will be heavy favorites that night, and with Bryan potentially missing the card, WWE will take the opportunity to make everyone happy. Seeing Triple H have to battle the Shield by himself would be a perfect way to close this feud out, and move The Shield on before Money In The Bank comes.
