10 Silliest Foreign Objects In Wrestling History

10. Dog Poop

Poor Davey Boy Smith. He went from headlining SummerSlam in front of an adoring Wembley to this s*** (pun intended) within the space of less than a decade. By this stage of his career, both his wrestling and personal life were beginning to spiral rapidly out of control, and it would ultimately end in tragedy as it has for so many other tortured talents.

There isn't too much you can say about the use of this foreign object, other than the fact it kind of sums up the Attitude Era and Vince McMahon's maturity. The Bulldog spurned the company when his brother-in-law got screwed at Survivor Series and went to WCW. Once WCW got bought out, Vince looked to humiliate him by putting him in a feud with the red-hot Rock, which culminated in a Dog Poop match.

Yes, a dog poop match. As in a match with canine excrement as a foreign object to be used in the match.

Am I the only one that finds Vince’s obsession with scatological humour just a little bit alarming?

So, yeah. Basically, we got to see one grown man, make a wrestling move on to another grown man, that ended with one of them landing in a tray of dog feces (by the way – pity the intern that had to be the one to gather the material for this match). The gimmick was lame, the execution stunk, and the calls of ‘the dog poop, the dog poop' over and over from Michael Cole is enough to give you an aneurysm. This object was silly as hell, but unfortunately, it wasn't even really fun.
