2. Lacey Evans - Lost At Karaoke
On the 10 July 2020 edition of SmackDown, proud mother and former hard-nosed Marine Lacey Evans turned heel because she couldn't take the fact that Naomi had won a karaoke contest. The segment, one roundly bashed by all corners of the wrestling fandom, was like a soft throwback to what women's wrestling used to be in WWE.
It was awful, in other words, and was so bad that Naomi acknowledged how tough it was to 'make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t' on her Instagram page. As if things couldn't get worse, WWE decided to use it as motivation for Lacey's latest turn by having her feign jealousy over Naomi's performance of Dusty Rhodes' 'American Dream'.
Apparently, Lacey believed her own delivery of 'With My Baby Tonight' was superior and should've resulted in a throwaway "entertainment" skit win nobody would've cared about anyway. This has to be one of the poorest excuses for a heel turn ever.
