5. Big Show - Needed A Stable Job

It feels like brain damage whenever WWE ignore previous story beats for the sake of whatever their latest angle is. That's what happened with Big Show after Survivor Series 2014. He'd turned heel by siding with 'Team Authority' against 'Team Cena' on the pay-per-view, and then justified his treachery by saying he needed a stable job.

The problem? Just over two years earlier, Show had been handed an "ironclad lifetime contract" by another heel authoritarian, John Laurinaitis, after helping him deal with John Cena. That 2012 outcome was dropped like a bad habit during late-2014, and it baffled anybody who had been paying attention.

If Show had an "ironclad" deal with WWE for life, then what the hell was he worried about?

WWE's ignorance and flagrant disregard for their own storytelling made Show seem like he had amnesia or something. He didn't even attempt to use his unwavering agreement with the company to play determined babyface.
