10 Stupidest WWE Main Events

7. Randy Orton vs. The Big Show (Survivor Series 2013)

One major problem with The Big Show's character over the years has been related to just how many times the giant has turned. Seemingly every few months, the man is flip-flopping between being heel and babyface, making it increasingly more difficult to take either alignment seriously. In trying to push The Authority, WWE made Show a sympathetic babyface, but his crocodile tears confused fans, who didn't want to see him so vulnerable. The man is an ass-kicking giant after all, or so he's been presented on television many times. In late-2013, WWE were interested in promoting Randy Orton vs. The Big Show as the main event of the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View, but it wasn't a satisfying enough match. The whole ordeal had been pushed heavily on TV, but the content of the bout was lacking. Fans found it hard to truly get behind Big Show, because his actions during the contest directly contrasted with his crybaby persona of before. To make matters worse, John Cena and Alberto Del Rio had a excellent match for the WWE Title and Daniel Bryan teamed with CM Punk to take on the Wyatt Family. Both were better received than the main event.
