3. Hulk Hogan vs. The Undertaker (Judgment Day 2002)
As aforementioned, Hulk Hogan's WWF return against The Rock at WrestleMania X-8 would have been an excellent choice to main event the show. Just a few short months later, Hogan's bout with The Undertaker would fail to reach the same standards. Having won the Undisputed Title from Triple H at Backlash, Hulk would then drop the strap to 'Taker at Judgment Day in May. This was the first Pay-Per-View to go under the WWE banner, a historic moment for the company. In decidedly less exciting news, the headline match of the show was not a great way to cap off the PPV. Hogan and Undertaker looked incohesive, struggling to put on a worthy main event. They were definitely not the ideal rivals to send people home happy. Ironically, given one of the other entries on this list, Triple H and Chris Jericho were better poised to main event. They were locked inside Hell In A Cell, and produced a thrilling brawl worthy of the stipulation. Hulk Hogan vs. The Undertaker just couldn't follow it, World Title or not. Even Edge vs. Kurt Angle in a 'Hair vs. Hair' match had more going for it.
