10 Superstars WWE Tried To Push In 2017 (But Failed Miserably)

10. Big Cass

He's 7-feet-tall, but you can't teach talent.

Okay, so it would be a bit harsh to say that Big Cass has nothing to offer, but clearly WWE sees something in him that most fans don't. Sure, he's tall, but what else? Appearance? He looks like Test (yet lacks the same skills that got him over). In-ring and mic skills? Those are obviously a work in progress. Charisma? Let's just say he was paired with Enzo Amore for a reason.

On the subject of whom, his feud with Enzo failed to get him over as a credible heel, despite how dominant he looked in each of their encounters. Worse yet, the feud with Big Show didn't produce the results WWE was likely hoping for. Then again, surely a blind-folded, stuck-in-the-basement Steve Wonder (credit: The Rock) could have seen that coming, when he was forced to compete in a match involving a shark cage.

Quite honestly, the injury he suffered in August might have been the best thing to happen to him. Now, he can come back and start anew, hopefully with a heel Enzo serving as his mouthpiece.
