For newcomers to the WWE product, it must be difficult to imagine that there was a time when NXT didn't represent excellence or excitement. It was a smart move to change this up in 2012, slowly but surely turning NXT into the thriving product it is today. It's been said that Triple H is largely responsible for the success that NXT has experienced, acting as the driving force behind the show and the young talent on it. In 2015, WWE would push the concept even further, bringing in veteran wrestlers like Samoa Joe and James Storm to pad out the roster. Reports have been posted all over the internet claiming that WWE want to expand NXT even more, turning it into a regular touring show in 2016. Steps have been taken during 2015 in the right direction. For example, NXT TakeOver: London takes place in the UK, giving the fresh talent in NXT the chance to perform on a stage they otherwise wouldn't before being called up to the main roster.
