AJ Lee has launched honest criticism at the WWE over the way female talent is paid and booked. She tweeted Stephanie McMahon in a public manner and pointed out the WWE's discrepancy in pay between women and men. She added that the lack of screen time is also a problem for the WWE Diva division. This is obviously awkward for Stephanie McMahon. The WWE executive had earlier in the week published a generic tweet encouraging girls to make their voices heard and demand equality. It was a reaction to Patricia Arquette's Oscars speech about equality in Hollywood - it was never meant to actually implore any action in Steph's own company. But AJ Lee saw an opportunity and brilliantly exposed the WWE's treatment of the Diva division. Steph surely felt humbled, embarrassed and a little bit of a hypocrite when AJ pointed out the low wages and lack of screen time for Divas. Sure, Stephanie tweeted thanks to AJ and said she appreciated her opinion, but the Billionaire Princess knows she's looking like a dumba** here. Will AJ's bold action cause the WWE to think about changes for the Divas? These tweets come in the same week that #GiveDivasAChance was trending, following a 30 second diva match on Raw. Change could be coming and the following things could be what AJ Lee is demanding from WWE.
