Wrestlers crossing over to movies and television is hardly anything new, and superstars have been doing it for years. Even way back in the eighties, there was Roddy Piper in They Live, Jesse Ventura in Predator, and Hulk Hogan in such classics as Mr. Nanny, Santa With Muscles and No Holds Barred. These days, wrestlers are starting to garner more respect in Hollywood, with Batista blowing everyone away in Guardians of the Galaxy, and The Rock as one of the biggest stars in the world. Its more than understandable that other stars would try their hand at acting, given how close the two professions are. Christian hasnt committed to acting in the same way some of his peers have, but his choice of roles is quite interesting, with a few schlock-horror pictures like Dark Rising and Medium Raw: Night of the Wolf. His biggest claim to fame is Clive Owens gloriously over-the-top action film Shoot Em Up, in which he plays a senators guard. Most recently, he guest-starred in Syfys Haven, which isnt too unusual as there is often crossover between WWE stars and USA or Syfy shows. What is interesting is that Edge has been a regular cast-member of Haven for a number of seasons, and Christian plays one of his oldest and closest friends
