Dixie Carter has had an interesting relationship with her former booking team member, Vince Russo. When TNA was at one of its lowest points creatively and on the receiving end of fan backlash, she continued to defend him, even going so far as to threaten the rest of the team that if there were any more "Fire Russo" chants at TNA events, someone OTHER THAN Russo was getting canned. Logic. On if she intends to work with the infamous creative madman in the future, Dixie had this to say: "There are no discussions and plans whatsoever to do that. I think Vince, when focused and when all moons are aligned, he can be a tremendous talent. I wish him success in everything he does. There have been no talks at all about anything going forward." This is a smart move on Dixie's part because Vince brings too much baggage and controversy with him, especially when you take into account his secret employment was allegedly one of the reasons Spike lost interest in renewing TNA's contract. While there may be no Vince Russo on the creative team, she did drop this tidbit...
