Despite winning the most important Royal Rumble ever, and wrestling for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 8, Ric Flair did not have a match at Summerslam 92. Flair was never given his rematch for the title; instead he was used with Mr. Perfect to disrupt the Macho Man vs Ultimate Warrior match. Furthermore, its never really been established why RIC FLAIR wasnt being used as a draw in WEMBLEY STADIUM. Its been rumored that it was punishment for the blade job at WrestleMania 8, in addition to the Ultimate Warrior not wanting to turn heel, which led to the wacky finish. Conversely looking at the rest of the card, there was no opponent on Flairs level to book him against, aside from The Undertaker, who was beginning a 6-month feud with Kamala. Shawn was a heel that wasnt ready, Bulldog and Bret were fighting for the IC title, and Tatanka would never be ready. However, Flair would soon make amends for his absence at Summerslam.
