5. The Headbangers Debut (On Shotgun's Debut Show) In The WWF As The Flying Nuns
While more notably known as one-time WWF Tag Team Champions and stalwarts of the late-90s tag division in the WWF, the Headbangers didn't exactly have the most impressive of mainstream TV debuts in WWF history. Kicking things off on Shotgun's debut episode, Mosh and Thrasher were instead Sister Angelica and Mother Smucker, The Flying Nuns. Eventually managed by Brother Love, the duo were repackaged as the "Sisters of Love." A key component of the very early days of Shotgun Saturday Night, the Sisters of Love being arrested for solicitation outside of Times Square's Disney Store may have been topped by the announcement of Goldust's never resolved pregnancy on the January 11, 1997 Shotgun broadcast.
