7. Peyton Royce And Billie Kay Are Both Over And Disliked At The Same Time

Being Australian, they were always going to be loved on this tour. However there was a conflict, with their characters currently being the heels of the NXT women's division. During Peyton Royce vs Asuka, originally billed as a tag match (Peyton Royce and Billie Kay vs Asuka and Liv Morgan; Billie Kay did have a bandage on her right elbow so that might explain that...), Billie turned around to the crowd who were chanting "Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi" (because we're a creative bunch) and enacted her heel self. She yelled "we get it, we're in Australia,now shut up" which was perfect. The crowd turned on her in a joyous spout of Australian-ness, and sung Aussie classics to her and Peyton, like Waltzing Matilda.

The match itself was genuinely pretty good, and Peyton was allowed to look very strong against an undeniably tough Asuka, who was victorious in this title match. With more experience and matches like this, Peyton and Billie will absolutely become great heels for NXT.
