6. The Hounds Devour The Unicorns
Injuries haven’t helped at all, but WWE has made a little bit of a mess of The Shield’s return. The trio’s first match together in three years was all set for TLC, but the mumps intervened and Kurt Angle ended up replacing Roman Reigns. As things transpired, the first Shield six-man match in years took place unannounced on RAW.
The Shield will do battle against The New Day at Survivor Series, and there can only be one outcome. Well, technically there can be three outcomes, but the idea is the same - The Shield must beat The New Day. It doesn’t matter if it is Woods, Kingston, or E. eating the triple powerbomb and 1-2-3.
There is absolutely no sense in handing The Shield a loss at this point. The New Day are going to be absolutely fine no matter the result here. If you’re putting money on one match this weekend, this is a gimme.
