No one is sure at this time if Jeff -- or Karen for that matter -- will play any part in GFW outside of founding and running it. Theres always the chance they could have on-air roles -- whether as authority figures, public relations ambassadors, or as active competitors. Good ole J-E-Double F is a well respected figure within the wrestling world, who possesses a wealth of experience and knowledge both inside the ring and behind the curtain. The Jarrett name has been associated with sports entertainment for decades dating back to Jerrys running of the Memphis territory in the 70s. (Even before that, Jerry Jarrett briefly competed as a wrestler and worked as a referee -- in all honesty, his roots within the wrestling world began when he was just seven years old handing out programs during local matches.) Jeffs great deal of history within the world of sports entertainment definitely lends credence to his new promotions potential. Because of his expertise and experience, it may be a smart choice for Jarrett to climb between the ropes. Beyond a role as an active competitor, there are numerous other on-air positions that Jeff would be quite adept in. He could also be potentially well placed as a booker or creative team member. However, only time will tell if Double J decides to enter the squared circle or simply work behind the curtain.
