6. WWE Were Confused Why He Was Eating A Banana
One of the funnier anecdotes Aries shared with Jericho was about bananas. Munching on the fruit post-match to "replenish", Austin was approached by production workers and asked to cut a promo for NXT. He was only too willing, but kept eating the banana as he walked with the cameramen. Confused, they asked him what he had in mind.
That baffled Aries, because he was just having a quick bite to eat. WWE couldn't wrap their heads about the banana though, repeatedly asking if Austin planned to talk about it in the promo. Eventually, he did, but not before being told to cut a take without it. When Aries mentioned the fruit anyway, staff told him he might as well be holding it.
