Picture the awkwardness on Sami Zayn's face when Vince McMahon dismissed him backstage, or how about Kevin Owens cringing as the boss told him he "had to learn, damn it" after taking a painful bump and audibly swearing on live TV. Jericho has a cool habit of making his guests feel at ease on his Talk Is Jericho podcast. That becomes even easier for the podcast guru when the guys he's interviewing are his real-life friends and have known one another for well over 15 years.

Owens and Zayn have been everywhere together. Whether they were tearing it up with and against one another on the independent scene, in Ring Or Honor, on NXT or as part of WWE's main roster now, their friendship has remained light-hearted and quirky behind the scenes. That's what Jericho was able to tap into this week.

When he's not on the road, Sami likes to detach himself from the industry and do something else. That's when he usually loses himself in music and pursues other interests. Owens can't do the same, and that's because he's pretty much obsessed by pro wrestling. In order to properly paint that picture, KO gave Y2J an example.

During one of Owens recent days off, he drove 3 hours from Orlando to Lake Worth, Florida just so he could watch an NXT show. That wasn't enough for KO, so he contacted those in charge and booked himself a surprise in-ring promo for the night just because he had nothing else going on.
