3. Triple H Told Ryder Off For Dying His Hair
Anyone reading this probably knows how hesitant WWE were to acknowledge fan support for Zack Ryder around a decade ago. The guy was working overtime to get over via his popular YouTube show, and yet nobody inside the company was taking notice. Well, that's not true. They were taking notice.
They just didn't like what they were seeing.
On the podcast, the pair specifically recalled being backstage at Madison Square Garden in 2011 and hearing the entire building go nuts for Ryder. It gave Zack goosebumps, and he was hyped when the sell-out crowd wouldn't stop chanting his name during a match between Dolph Ziggler and John Morrison. That's when Triple H motioned him over by the curtain.
Trips proceeded to chew Ryder out for drying his hair. There was no validation, no, 'Good job, kid' speech and no admiration for the Garden treating him like a God. Nope, Triple H admonished Zack for changing his look without permission from the office.
